Panic attack
I was on a summer camp as a camp counsellor. I was kinda new and i was not one of the big ones so not every kid , especially teenagers, didn’t take me seriously, but i was okay with that. One evening, when we went to say goodnight to kids from our team, I saw some older kid on the bench, he wasn’t from my team and he seemed like he was struggling to brathe- he was having a panic attack. Normalyy i would ask someone who knows the kid to help him, but no one seemed to care. I think it was like that because it was so cold outside and no one wanted or didn’t know how to help him. So even though he wasn’t from my team and it was cold outside, i sat and talked to him until he was okay. The next day he found me and thanked me. He said, that no one helped him like that for a long time and he is really glad that i stayed and helped him get through it.
