When I was 16 years old I saw a picture of a miniature horse in a nursing home and thought "that is something I wish to do too!". Some years went by but I still had this dream and at the age of 24 I got to chance to buy to miniature horses. Speedy and Junior are their names and even though they are small they have done some great things! I have been taking visiting nursing homes with them for 3 years now. Since I work full time on the side I have to do this after work. We have had elderly people who have started to cry because they never thought they would see a horse again, some who have not spoken for weeks have started to talk again.. we have had so many good moments that it would take all day to write them. In other words: we are trying to make some difference by giving some of our time doing acts if kindness in my home town in Norway. The elderly woman is this picture loved Junior so much that when she died her family mentioned Junior in her funeral.
