I do this every change I get. Regardless of the parent company,people are doing hard work for little pay. A kind word and bit of help (in form of tips, not leaving behind a mess to clean, a compliment on their service to the manager, etc.)might be appreciated and even if not, you've still been kind

It's important to show kindness to those in the service industry. Many of them often feel overlooked and unappreciated, despite their hard work and dedication to making our experiences better. A little recognition and gratitude can go a long way in brightening their day.

I used to work in hospitality for 25 years so I always take my plate, cup or glass back to the counter to help busy wait staff- no tips in Australia so any help is appreciated.
