March 8th is International Women's Day:

24 hours dedicated to celebrating inspiring women. What a great opportunity to spread a little kindness and show your gratitude for the amazing women in your life!

Can you think of a woman who has positively influenced your life?
Sunday, March 8 is the perfect time to show your appreciation.

Here are 5 fun ways to say thank you.

Are you a...

Wordsmith? Compose a handwritten thank you note. Need ideas?
Check out the 5-minute thank you note.

Tech-guru? Start a shared Google Doc and ask other people to contribute their messages of thanks all in one place.

Socializer? Treat her to coffee or dinner--or throw a party to celebrate her! Bonus points for using confetti (extra bonus points if it's environmentally friendly confetti. The environment deserves kindness too ya know).

Gift-giver? Mail her something you know she would love. (Stumped? Money is always a good option. Just kidding. But seriously.)

Crafter? Make it personal. Get a terracotta planter and a Sharpie. Write words describing her all over the pot. Plant a flower in the pot. Give it to her. Done.

As Hannah, our RAKtivist of the month (and one of the coolest 17-year-olds we know) said:

"Making someone feel needed and appreciated is one of the most important things in life, and I think the best way to do that is through kindness. If something so simple can make someone so happy, why not do it?"

So what will you do?
