The mission of The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation is to make kindness the norm™ in our schools, workplaces, homes & communities. We work toward that goal by creating free content that promotes kindness toward others & teaches important social emotional learning skills to kids.
While academics are important during this time of distancing, we believe social emotional skills are incredibly valuable to our mental health.
For those of you looking to include social emotional learning into your daily/weekly curriculum, we've added some mini-lessons that can be done at home alone or with others in your household. Most importantly, take care of yourself and your own well-being. It's not easy to learn if you aren't practicing self care!

Let’s blanket our world with LOVE! It’s simple! Just make a heart from any object and tape it to a street-facing window to send your love out to the world. Encourage all your friends to do the same. Then, in a few days, take a family walk (keeping 6 feet distance from others!) to search for other hearts on houses. How fun it will be to watch the love grow!
Use Skype, Zoom, Facetime or Google Hangouts to host a dinner party where everyone makes the same dish at home.
