LARK Ladies Acts of Random Kindness
My high school classmate started a LARK group. The gals meet once a month to donate money and have dinner together. Each month one member takes the donation money and select an act of kindness to donate the money towards. It can be anything, an organization, someone in need, random people, or something or someone on their heart. It is hard to decide when it is your turn.
Then the following month we hear from the person who was selected to take the donation money. We hear what it went to and how that person felt or how the gift was received. It is a blessing to be a part of this group of gals. I encourage others to start a group if they are able. Carol
