We are all One
One of the devastating consequences of COVID-19 is that unemployment in South Africa has rocketed to heartbreaking levels and as a result, many many people there are depleted, don’t have enough money to feed their families and are suffering and slowly starving. During the pandemic, we in London were introduced to an incredible way to help those on the other side of the world get though the month and we hope this initiative I will be able to continue as the world starts to slowly recover from the chaos caused in 2020 and 2021. By a simple credit card transaction, via a safe and secure link, anyone (who doesn’t have to think about where their next meal is coming from) is able to transfer/donate a food voucher to a recipient (who is worrying about feeding their family) and a 16 digit barcode will then be sent by text message to that recipient’s personal mobile phone number, enabling that family to shop for essential food for the month. Many people in humankind are naturally eager to join our #SoulFood group and as a result, we have been effortlessly successful in matching donors directly with recipients for the past 3 months. The connections that are being formed between the different parts of humanity is simply another healing kind of food for everyone’s soul!
