February 10 is my adult son's birthday, he turned 20. In order to get some time with him on his special day we arranged to meet for breakfast. We met at a nearby Perkins, had a nice meal, genuine conversation, and then it was time for us to each head our separate directions. We were walking side by side on our way back to our vehicles, but all of the sudden he began walking back toward the restaurant. There was a woman, getting her walker out of the trunk of her car. My son went over there to assist her and held the door open for her. A proud moment watching my son show a random act of kindness.
