Teaching Friendship
When I was in 5th grade I was the lonely type. I never made friends and sat by myself at recess. Although I was quiet, I had pretty good grades. One school day I was eating my lunch when a few girls came up to me with a teacher. They said, "Come with us we are going to have good pizza for lunch!" so I threw away my lunch and followed. When we were walking to get the pizza I would always hold the door for the girls. When we got back to the classroom we all grabbed our plates and dug in. While we were eating we started talking to each other. We made each other laugh and became great friends. I still have these friends to this day, thanks to my teacher putting us together.
