Saving the Turtles
My community service project assignment was to go to the beach and pick up trash. One of the reasons I wanted to do this project is because I knew it would help marine animals such as turtles not to accidentally mistake trash for food and eat it. I worked with two of my friends to help accomplish this goal. We found plastic bags, toothpicks, plastic bottles, broken tools, worn-out gloves dug deep into the sand, old cloth, and other random materials.
