Caring for Others in Need
I have always seen my grandmother give to people that didn't have as much. She would open her home up to a complete stranger. Anything she could do to help a person she would. It didn't matter to her when her kids would tell her that she couldn't help everybody; she still tried, anyway. Even if she didn't have much herself, she would still find a way to help someone else. I have always told her that when I get older I wanted to be just like her. I always wanted to reach out and help the elderly. After helping my parents take care of her when she got ill, I knew that's what I wanted to do. I found a job doing Home Health Care and I started taking care of the elderly. I even gave up my home and moved in with a mother and daughter because they needed someone with them at all times and could not do for themselves. I just adore taking care of older people.
