Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am 15 and have lived in New York my whole life. I am a kindness fanatic - wherever I am, I'm constantly thinking of how I can help others. I'm the founder of The Validation Project, an organization committed to uniting the next generation of do-gooders. We take kids' unique skills and use them to help others. We're proud to be teaming up with thousands of teens worldwide. I also love to write and hope to write a book one day.
Why did you want to become a RAKtivist?
I've always been a huge follower of the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation, and a chance to be a part of a community as kindness-crazy as I am was too good too pass up! The kindness raids each month are also super cool. I love finding new ways to add more color to the world.
Why does kindness matter?
It's the blood that flows through our globe, the true glue of human connection. It makes us stick together.
Where do you go or what do you do when you need to feel inspired?
I volunteer. No matter what's going on in my life, hanging with my buds at the nursing home or having lunch with the special needs kids at my school always gives me the boost I need to carry on. No matter how hard life is for them, they're always smiling and have the best view on life.
Who or what was your kindness teacher growing up?
Ellen DeGeneres, my home girl! I've watched Ellen since I was little and I love the way she uses comedy as a resource for kindness. She's taught me that you can take your passion and use it to impact others in a positive way.
What song gets you dancing?
Right Back Where We Started From by Maxine Nightingale is kinda my anthem.
