Grocery Store

Submitted by from

About 3 weeks ago, while I was in the checkout line at the grocery store, I noticed the woman in front of me short by about $8 to buy all her groceries. As she was trying to figure out what she was going to put back, I told the cashier that I'd take care of the balance...the other woman was shocked but she thanked me and kept thanking me all the way out the store! It sure does make you feel good :)

I was at the store yesterday with my son. A little boy in front of me, who looked no older than 11, was trying to buy a small bag of candy and a toy...well, cashier told him he needed $1 to buy it all. He didn't have one more dollar. He looked so upset asking her to put the toy back. Nobody else in line offered to pay it for him. I reached in my pocket and gave him the $1!! The look on his face was priceless! I made a little kids' day! That sure made me feel good too Lydia Bullen from Kentucky
