Have a Vegetarian Day
Don’t feel the need to give up meat for life, but do your part by having one meat-free day a week
It takes 2,500 gallons of water in order to produce one pound of beef. If you and your family have one meat-free day a week, you could save up to 120,000 gallons of water per year. Not to mention there are countless delicious vegetarian recipes you can find online.
A tradition that my mom made was to do a meatless meal each Monday of the week. Our family started this in 2003 and it's always been fun take on what meal we could make for dinner. It also helped open up my taste to vegetables I didn't like when I was younger as well!
