Mow a Neighbor’s Lawn

Every blade of grass has its Angel that bends over it and whispers 'grow, grow. - Talmud

Maintaining your yard can be a hard task. For people who work long hours or those who have a physical disability, keeping their grass trimmed is often hard to do. Offer to mow a neighbor’s lawn for free. You'll be helping keep your neighborhood beautiful and making a neighbor happy.

Benefits

Maintaining a good relationship with your neighbors is essential to keeping your community safe. If you already know your neighbors, this could be a step forward in your friendship. If you haven’t met your neighbors yet, this is a creative way to introduce yourself!

Step it Up

Offer to maintain your neighbor’s lawn for an entire summer. Or, spend a day and mow several neighbors’ lawns.

Keep it Simple

Adults can mow a neighbor's lawn after they mow their own. Kids can offer to mow their family’s lawn or a neighbor's lawn.
