Offer to rake your neighbor's leaves, or to mow their lawn. While you are raking your own lawn, don't be afraid to just keep going and rake your neighbor's yard, too! This can be a particularly helpful kind act if your neighbors are elderly, or if they are just really busy and often away from the house. Do it while they are out and think how surprised they will be when the get home to a beautifully raked yard!
Raking leaves is great exercise. It allows you to be outside breathing fresh air. Often it helps you get to know your neighbors, too. In nicer weather, everyone seems to be outside more often! Take time to greet your neighbors when they walk by.
