For many people going to the movies is luxury that rarely occurs. For some it is the cost that hinders their ability to go. For others it is the lack of time, energy, or transportation. Make sure all of your friend's needs are met: arrange for a babysitter, offer to pick them up and drop them off, etc. Then plan a time to treat your friend, neighbor, or lonely relative to the movies.
You will get to spend quality time with the person you take getting to and from the movie. Think of some questions to ask them after the movie and you will get to know them even better.
Offer to take them to lunch or dinner before the movie. Or maybe grab some coffee or ice cream after the movie to talk about your favorite parts. Make it a monthly date!
If you don't have the money to go out, invite someone over to watch a movie at your house. Be sure to cover their transportation needs, make some yummy snacks, and let movie night begin!
