“Just as despair can come to one another only from other human beings, hope, too, can be given to one only by other human beings.” –Elie Wiesel
In our daily lives, it’s easy to let negativity bring us down. But you can help create a positive environment for yourself and those around you by going out of your way to say nice things to others. Thinking of something nice to say to others isn’t always easy, but if you make it a habit, you’ll become a more positive, happier person.
Being optimistic in one area of your life will carry over to all other aspects of your life. Studies have shown that people who are optimistic are more likely to be happier, healthier and more successful thank those who aren’t. Being kind to others will also help them be happier.
Make it a habit to say something nice to everyone you come in contact with. It’s as easy as a simple complement, like telling someone they look nice, or thanking someone for something they’ve done. Being nice will help you become a nicer, caring person, just one day at a time. You’ll be making those around you happier too!
Make a resolution to say something nice to at least one person every day, even if it is someone you don’t like. Trying to see good qualities in someone you don’t get along with might help you to better understand your differences.
