How to Make Sending Greeting Cards a Habit
Discussion started by Joe Merola , on 16 March 08:12 AM
What is a "habit" anyway? It's a way of doing things that has become routine or commonplace. To change an existing habit or form a new one, can be a tedious task. When it comes to reaching out in kindness with a greeting card, we all have great intentions. However, the moment your mind drifts to something else, you go on to other interests or tasks.

I send two unexpected greeting cards a day. Here is how I made this a "habit".

1. I keep a notepad with me so I can keep track of those individuals that I want to reach out to.

2. Every day when I wake up I send a card to a recipient on my notepad.

3. Every night before I go to bed, I send a card to a recipient on my notepad.

It takes approximately 16-21 times of repeating a task to make it a habit. Make this a habit and watch how your personal relationships strengthen!

Best wishes!

Good idea. :) I think it would be good to start now and make it as my last quarter of the year resolution.
