This time last year a group of wonderful women did a Random Act of Kindness for our family. This group of women who get together on a regular basis decide each Christmas season to give gifts to a family in need. Last year this wonderful group of ladies send us a huge basket of wonderful things such as 8 gift cards from local grocery stores, bath products, peronal items for girls (I have 3 daughters) and all kinds of great gifts. There was even gifts for a new puppy like chew toys. It was one of the most generous gifts we had been given in a long time. We have food from the gift cards for the entire month. This is was so kind because my husband had a liver trasnplant in 2004(another gift) and had been having complications for a long time and he is also disabled. Since I care for him a great deal there are times when I am not able to hold down a regular job.. as most employers don't wish to hire someone who is in and out of the hospital alot with a spouse. So this gift came at perfect time and I am still grateful for this as this time comes around again. I hope to gift someone else this year if I can with a basket of goodies.
