Videos

If a picture is worth 1,000 words then a video puts pictures into inspiring action! Here you will find videos that inspire kindness in the classroom, around town, in the workplace and in your community. Have a video you think should be on here? Send it to us!

Abdul Range is a Trick & Text Tour participant who met Groovy Louie at the skate park. The Range family has seen far more than their share of tragedy. Two of their sons were murdered, four years apart. That history makes Abdul's parents extremely protective of Abdul, so that he can "fly like a bird," as Abdul's mother puts it. The Ranges got together to make this video about protecting kids from bullies.

Where can you take a 5-year-old skateboarder to perfect his tricks without being bullied? The local skate park! Intrepid interviewer Groovy Louie takes note of a place where skaters of all ages are falling down and learning -- without being laughed at.

Experts on bullying can learn a lot from Groovy Louie and the skateboard community: No racism, no criticism, no hatred, no class divide and no power struggle.

Groovy Louie, a skateboarder from the 1970s, goes on a Groovy Kind Text Tour to witness skaters do a kind Trick and Text move in support of kids who’ve been bullied.

Who gets more out of a random act of kindness – the giver, or the recipient? It’s hard to say. Whether they’re sharing high fives, songs or smiles, these kind-doers prove that sharing kindness is pretty sweet.

Would you spend your day on a street corner, sharing your talent just to put a smile on someone else's face? Street musicians do, and it creates reciprocal energy based in kindness. Is kindness contagious? The tapping toes of passersby tell us it is!
