It is May and May brings us showers they say. i would like to think showers of blessings. Speaking of blessings I pray that your mother has been a blessing to you. I realize that not all mothers can be placed in the great mother's Book of Mothers, but every mother has something good she has done for her children along the way. So, I suggest that we focus on those things and remember our mothers in a special way this Mother's Day!

Then, let's take Mother's Day and kindness to the next level. Why not send Mother's Day cards to mothers everywhere, or treat a mother that will be alone on Mother's Day to a hot meal and a smile! We can send flowers to other mothers, too. For the mothers who have to work on Mother's Day we can leave an extra big tip and a card! There are so many ways to show we care. Make it a "kindness moment" for other mothers this Mother's Day!!!

My new favorite Christmas random act of kindness is to take bills (as in money) and stick a removable note on each one that asks the finder to pass on the random act of kindness gift by doing for others. I placed a scripture on my note, too.

Then, I had the most fun placing these bills at random locations in a frequented store. Be sure and place the money where the bill end is sticking out a little to get attention.

The first sign we see, where I live, of giving back is the Salvation Army with their buckets & bells!  Love that sound!!!  We can all certainly spare a little that helps a lot!  There are many worthy organizations in our communities where we can give.  To sacrifice for the cause of making another's life easier is why we are blessed.  Give till it hurts to those who need, not to all those who have too much.  This year, take a family the size of yours and do something for them instead of yourself and your family.  Make it everyone's decision to participate and become involved in the process.  The blessings you all will get will change your lives forever!  Just a little random act of kindness along the way will change the world! A great and fun thing to do is to give a remaining balance ... 'leftover' ... gift card to the person behind you in line or the next table to apply to their purchase.
