Another birthday is coming for young kids and old kids alike. Why not let the guests know that all gifts will be donated to a local CPS agency or foster children agency for kids going through tough times. Maybe have a teddy bear gift party, a cuddly blanket party, or a book party!!!

Then, I had the most fun placing these bills at random locations in a frequented store. Be sure and place the money where the bill end is sticking out a little to get attention.

A great and fun thing to do is to give a remaining balance ... 'leftover' ... gift card to the person behind you in line or the next table to apply to their purchase. No since in just forgetting about that little or big balance. It will fill and warm a heart ... RAK :O)

The current book we are reading was suggested to me by someone on facebook, Silver Boxes: The Gift of Encouragement by Florence Littauer. The end of the month we will discuss it and rate it.

A young girl has started her own little business of making neck coolers/warmers to raise money to buy things. She makes a variety of sizes. One size she makes is 2" x 24" a perfect size to hang around the back of a neck. We are in a terrible drought here in northwest Texas. We are having over 100 degree days for weeks now. Picture our biggest highway in this rural town being redone this summer. H-O-T for these workers. We took a box of frozen neck scarves we bought from this young lady and gave them to the workers one day...just to cool them off. Now they can stick them in the frig and cool them for another hot day or this winter when it turns cold they can heat them in the microwave to warm them. Just listen to the nudge!
